Three Delicious Oyster Dressing Recipes
Jamie Oliver – Chilli Ginger Dressing
½ Thumb-sized piece peeled ginger
6 Tablespoons rice wine vinegar
1 red chilli
A little fresh coriander
1 Teaspoon sugar
Finely grate ½ a thumb-sized piece of peeled ginger and mix with 6 tablespoons of rice wine vinegar, 1 finely chopped and deseeded red chilli and a little finely sliced fresh coriander. Stir in a teaspoon of sugar until dissolved. Serve in a dish with the oysters.
Red Wine Vinegar Dressing
1½ Teaspoons finely chopped purple shallots
1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 Teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
Freshly ground black pepper
Combine 1½ teaspoon of finely chopped French shallots or red onion with 1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar, 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil and freshly ground black pepper in a bowl.
Spicy Lime Dressing
1½ Tablespoons fresh lime juice
½ Teaspoon peri peri sauce
1 Teaspoon finely chopped fresh coriander
Combine 1½ tablespoons fresh lime juice with ½ teaspoon peri peri sauce and 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh coriander in a bowl.
