The key to good food is often simplicity, as long as you are using the best ingredients on offer. That is our philosophy at The Cooking Company.
Our menu is simple and nourishing featuring baguette sandwiches, bagels, gourmet salads, charcuterie and cheese platters.
Be sure to try one of our customer favourites such as the rare roast beef baguette with tomatoes, horseradish and mustard; or the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel; and of course the unbeatable gluten free “seed” bread toasties.
In winter we add soups of the day which will satisfy and warm the soul… all served with a slice of crusty baguette for dipping of course!
Everything is made to order and there is always something to delight each day. Some favourite menu items include The Rolling Dolmade pies and quiches – both of which are known to be the best on The Sunshine Coast.
To complete the perfect lunch (or an indulgent afternoon treat) we also stock delicious cakes, pastries, artisan chocolates, and locally roasted Padre coffee.
